AT LIVING FAITH, WE BELIEVE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US IS A MINISTER!
Listen, here's the truth: you're a gift. Yes you are. You are a genuine gift. So is the person to your left and your right. We are each a gift given by God to this world to minister in our own way. We believe Jesus has equipped every single one of us with certain talents, skills, and strengths for ministry.
That's the easy part. You are equipped as you are right now. Now the hard part is figuring out just what that ministry might be. That's where we come in -- in a church community you can explore what gifts you have, what ministries feel right or might be for someone else, and where God might be wanting to see you flourish. In our own way, we are all pastors on mission to love and serve one another, all the while giving God the glory!

ROSS JOHNSON
Hey there! Greetings to you and yours in the name of our Lord and the light of the world, Jesus Christ.

Just a little about me: I grew up working in my family's business, a bed n' breakfast down on the island of Nantucket, off the coast of Cape Cod.
​
My grandmother ran the inn and certainly knew how to run me around in the process. I welcomed guests and showed them their rooms, cleaned while they were out at the beach, made them breakfast in the mornings, and made sure their stay was enjoyable.
​
I say this because I have come to realize a church community is a lot like a bed n' breakfast. People show up on the doors of a church for all types of reasons: escape, weariness, searching, and wanting a place to call home for just a little bit.
As a pastor I am the one who welcomes you at the door, helps you find a pew, prays with you, give you some comforting words, and makes sure you find just what you need while you are here. Let me make my grandmother proud by welcoming you on your next visit to Living Faith United Methodist Church.
